We are hiring licensed service electricians in Greenacres Florida. Our shop is less than 10 minutes from your area! You can expect a starting wage of $29 to $36/hour, depending on your license and experience. You will also get a take-home van that you can use to get to and from work and be home for dinner every night. There will be no travel crews, no storm chasing, no sixty-hour workweeks in the Florida weather.

What is the Job?
We are a residential and light commercial service contractor. You will be diagnosing and fixing real electrical problems in real houses and small commercial buildings across Palm Beach and Martin Counties — not pulling the same home run a hundred times in a building with no drywall.
What does a normal week look like?
- Troubleshooting – dead circuits, nuisance trips, failing devices, backfed neutrals, the stuff that takes an actual electrician to find
- Panel and service upgrades, including meter cans and service masts
- Chandelier Installations
- Condo and Home Remodels
- EV charger installations, which are growing every year
- Fixtures, fans, devices, remodels, and additions in homes people actually live in
- Commercial service calls for small business clients and HOAs
The customer will be talking with and relying on you. We rely on you to diagnose the problem and provide a clear explanation to the client before fixing it. If you like being the person who figures it out rather than the person who installs what someone else figured out, this is the right kind of shop.
What the Job is Not
We believe that being open about this saves us both some time:
- No out-of-state storm work. You will not live in a hotel.
- No travel crews. Every job is inside our service area, Stuart down to Boca Raton.
- No production new construction. We are not a tract builder’s rough-in crew.
- No mandatory overtime and no regular on-call rotation.
Schedule
We operate only on weekdays, Monday through Friday, during daytime hours. There will be no standing on-call rotation. Of course, we can’t control when emergencies happen in this industry, but we can promise that it will be the exception, not the standard business model. Weekends will be yours.
Pay and Benefits
Your license, experience, and ability to work on a service call independently will determine your starting pay, which will fall between $29 and $36 per hour. That will put your yearly pay between $60,300 and $74,900.
For context: the average Greenacres electrician makes about $28.55 an hour or $59,380 a year. We believe well-paid teams keep good people around, so we start above the average and are in the 75th percentile for the metro. We don’t need a revolving door.

Why the Take-Home Van Matters if You Live in Greenacres Florida
Our shop is about 9 minutes from Greenacres, down S Haverhill Rd by the Publix Market on Summit. You can get to our office without having to hop on the freeway. However, allowing you to take the work van home means you don’t even have to stop by the office on some days and then head to your first jobsite.
You leave home, go to work, and at the end of the day you drive home. On the days your work is south of the shop, you may never drive north at all.
What We Need From You
- Verifiable residential and commercial service experience – you can walk into an unfamiliar house and troubleshoot without a phone call for help
- A valid Florida driver’s license and a clean enough record to drive a company vehicle
- Your own hand tools
- The ability to talk to a homeowner like a professional. You are in their house. How you carry yourself is part of the job.
- Bonus points: Journeyman certificate of competency
- We are not hiring helpers or apprentices for this position. This is a role for an electrician who can run a service call independently from start to finish.
